Taking off socks (undressing) can be a challenge even for the healthy.
You have to be flexible, able to sit or stand and bend forward to extend your harms and getting you finger into the sock bands to guide them down. Sometimes rubbing your socks on the carpet using friction to roll them off does the trick.
